Just one suggestion is the case .. I have just recently bought a 'Tsunami Dream' (no psu) and am well impressed, maybe a little pricey but heck if you wanna case that really cools in the places it matters this is the one .. HD Fan with filter and some thought at long last of the side fan (with filter) blowing directly onto the CPU fan. and of course large exhaust fan at rear. Very roomy and an excellent finish all round. One complaint though, had to get tin snips out as Rom access was a wee bit tight :)

If your going to run dual video cards might want to get a bigger power supply

The above power supply is sufficient, HOWEVER,

You are buying and paying a premium for an SLI capable motherboard (as well as power supply) and then using an ATI card that can't be run in SLI? WHY?

Also, your specs are very good, but I would prefer a LiteOn CDR/W as opposed to Sony.

I would also prefer an LG 4163 DVD burner instead of the NEC.

can you recommend a better PSU then?

getting the motherboard because its not too expensive and because it gets really good reviews and if i want SLI in the future then i can get it but i dont need it atm.

Did you even read what I posted?

I'm trying to help you, so try to read what I wrote.

Again, why are you getting an ATI card if you want SLI?

You cannot use SLI with an ATI card EVER, only nVidia 6600 and 6800 support it.

im aware of that. that wasnt my point. im saying should i ever want to get SLI i could in future by 2 new GPU's. the ati x800xl is much better than the nvidia 6600GT as a single gpu and thats why im getting that.

Hey, it's your money, get what you like.

If you have money like that to throw around, you're lucky.

The X800XL isn't "much better" than the nVidia 6600 GT (it's also more expensive) and even if you don't like the 6600, then why wouldn't you get a 6800?

At least later you only need one card instead of two.

Anyway, as I said, it's your money.
