New system (yet to push send).

Just wanted some general consensus on whether this is an okay choice for a new computer. I will be stealing some parts from my current computer, to complete the build.

Yes I do know about the bios flash I have to do with the mobo.

ive always been a fan of that case, really nice looking.

only thing i might change is the memory, Crucial or Corsair would be my memory of choice. Its up to you though.

WAIT! lol What about the PSU? ASUS is the PSU guru though, id see what he's got to say...IMO an OCZ or Corsair, and if u plan on going SLI then make sure the PSU can handle 2 of those 8800GTS.

 

Give me a link on memory within similar price, and I'll go with that.

Remember, the GTS does not require two 6 pin power connectors. But, give me a better PSU and I'll change what I have.

Read a review, where one is using two 8800gts just fine. Same price as the PSU I was looking into. Also, the GTS only requires 400w. Yes, I do know that the GPU does not take all that wattage.

 

Oooo i didnt see the PSU in ur list lol, not used to CORSAIR having PSUs...

Ive got a Thermaltake PSU, a low end one; only cost me $40 and its running a HIGHLY OC'd system (check my sig) and it has run perfectly fine for almost a year. This one should be great.

if you arent gonna bother with overclocking then either of those kits will do fine regardless of the voltages
