New x800xt PE Aquamark Problem

I just got a new X800XT Platinum Edition and when I run aquamark I get an error about half way though it about some virtual exception or something. Any ideas, is it my card, or is this common (the card seems fine in other things). Also the ATI Control Panel in the 4.9 drivers won't start, I get some error (however, that error was also present with my previous Video Card 9800xt, whereas the Aquamark was not (although I never aquamarked with 4.9s either).

 

do you have dx 9.0c? I would recommend a fresh install; seems you got some problems in that system from the begning.

 

I don't think I need a fresh install, I read somewhere else that someone had this problem. Anyone heard of it? They mentioned something about the 3dmark hot fix that worked for aquamark.

 

Fresh Install

So I just did a fresh format give your guys advice and I still can't run Aquamark or 3dmark with my x800xt PE. What is going on here, is my card ok? I am very worried about this.
