No display on new motherboard Installation

gSkill 2x(2GB) Ram
nVidia 7950 GT Graphics Card
580w Hipper Type R Powersupply

I took the hard drive from my old compute i put it in the new that i am building i enter the bios and perform the bios update with thumb drive then i go to boot settings in the bios Boot1 Removable Devices, Boot2 HDD, Boot3 CDROM. while on the thumb drive i have the vista repair disc files. i then save and exit the bios the computer restarts then i get no display. I then clear_RTC with the jumper start computer up still no display. Hit the reset button on the case i get 1 beep from the onboard speaker then everything comes on and i have to redo everything.

Can anyone help please been search for days for someone to help. Thanks
