No internet access for laptop

Be advised, im a beginner with this whole network business

I've just set up a wireless network for my laptop using a Netgear WPN824v2, With the laptop attached to the router (So it basicly isnt blocked to my knowledge). The laptop connects fine, but I cant view any webpages on it.

 

Only windows firewall but when I turn it off I seem to have the same problem. When I open IE its got the options about working offline or trying to find a connection.

Does there need to be any kind of connection information in Internet explorer?

Now I've done it again and it doesnt have any of the wireless information, just the ethernet's
