No internet Continued from closed case on mian computer

Last statement was network majic got downloaded and locked up my network card and kept me from getting comunicating with my network card. after that was removed from my system internet function was still not possible as the file afd.sys was corrupted and still wouldnt allow tcpip and RPC to function as it releys on afd.sys. After new file afd.sys was installed Then i was able to regain control of network card and install and settings. Thank You HandyGal for your help number one and others that chimed in on helpful thoughts.
