no internet since new motherboard installation.

    I have recently installed agigabyte 7vt600-rz(-c) motherboard,and since installation i have not been able to access the internet.all software has been downloaded for hardware,and in device manger onboard lan is operatin normally.i have tried disabling onboard lan and installing an ethernet controller in pci slot,and still no internet.can anyone tell me what i am doin wrong?

    im am currently running on a dsl,for setup,but have a cble modem at home.also am running a amd 2700 32-bit processor with 512mb ddr ram.window me operating system

    Either your network does not work, or you are not correctly authenticating your Internet connection.

    DSL connection needs different type of setting than Cable.
    This has to do with authentication: DSL Routers and PPPOE.
