No Sound from Acer 5100 and Volume tab is disabled

Hi All,

I am facing problem with my Acer Aspire 5100 laptop. Sound is not coming from my Laptop. Earlier its working fine without any problem.
i tried whatever specified in"No Audio Device Acer 5100" thread.

Here is the info from "EVERREST Home Edition" tool:
1) Multimedia->PCI/Pnp Audio => ATI SB450 - High Definition Audio Controller
Multimedia->Windows Audio => Its blank
2) MotherBoard ID => <DMI>
Motherboard Name => Acer Aspire 5100

I went in Accerssories->System Tools->System Information. Then in System Information, under Components->Sound Device, nothing is coming up. Its blank.

Also went in Settings->Control Panel->Sound Speech And Audio Devices->
Sound and Audio Devices. On this "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" dialog,
under "Volume" tab it says "No Audio Device" and ever thing is disabled on this tab.

Please tell me what to do to resolve this.

To start with goto.....MY PC.....Properties.....then Device Manager....from thr look and note if thr are any ! or X indicating a fault somewhere.

Please look into "Help & Technical Forums->Drivers" forum.

I tried by installing the drivers too.
Please looks into above forum, i had written out what i had tried all the things.
