No video from DVI port on video card

    I have an eVGA nVidia 6800 that I've been using from the VGA port to my monitor's DVI port.

    I just got a hold of a DVI Dual Link TDMS Cable - DVI-D M/M but it won't show video on my screen. I enable the nView control but I don't see the dual screen option in my display properties.

    What I want to do is just use my DVI port. No need to have them both if I can get the DVI working.
