    Hi all.

I have a Gigabyte P35 DQ6 Motherboard. The instructions says I must connect the Northbridge to the fan header. What does this mean exactly? Does it mean that there is already a fan or heatsink on or near the Northbridge that needs connecting from the power supply to it's three pin 12V header?

    Thanks.

Just thought I'd add a screenshot of the Gigabyte P35 DQ6 in question. It looks like there isn't a Northbridge fan on these motherboards.

Lol! I love instructions like that. :D

I think you have it figured out, that would be a fanless mobo, except for the CPU fan. Nice looking board!

    Yea..silly me .
I think these instructions are what's called "Generic". I will admit though, It did throw me. Well, I am a newbie and it's my first PC build so I suppose I can be forgiven this once for looking a bit daft Lol!. :hammer
