I just uninstalled Norton Systemworks 2004 to try out Avast! (wanted a faster startup), but now my Windows boot screen takes twice as long as before! Could this be Nortons evilness showing through?

To remove comletely go here http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...82813272507?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=3&Src=
The first article that comes up tells you how to uninstall it and you can download a patch that completely removes all registry entries. Scroll down near the bottom nsw2004registryremoval.reg and download it and run it, then go through and manually remove the folders c:\program files\norton system works, program files\symantec, program files\common files\symantec shared, documents and settings\all users\application data\symantec and then manually delete all your shortcuts. This will completely remove Norton SystemWorks from your computer :)
