Norton PC Check UP Stub/Adobe Shockware 11

    Does anyone know how to turn off the Norton PC checkup stub that is embedded within Adobe Shockware 11. I updated Shockware and evidently this little program was within. I have Vista Ultimate Home and every time this pesty little program want to access I have to allow or disallow. Do I really need Adobe Shockware on my system ? Is it something I can get alone without. I was considering uninstalling it.
