not always getting a post beep

It seems that almost (yes I said almost) everytime I reboot this computer, I never hear a post beep (yet everything works fine).

Everytime I power-on the computer, I get the post beep.

My old p3 always gave a post beep on every restart, yet this one will not. Is something wrong?

DFI nf4-DAGF mobo
AMD64 3200+
XFX Geforce 6600GT video

Latest BIOS for my mobo is already flashed.

 

mine will post beep on start up also but not on restarts I think thats just normal.

 

PC's don't beep on reboot.

All you are doing is rebooting Windows, it's not a cold boot so it isn't going through POST. (ie checking everything in the Bios)

 

Nope nothing is wrong, and if it aint broke blah blah.

You can worry when you don't get a post beep and nothing happens.

 

Unless off course it's been disabled to not beep on errors, or it's a crappy OEM board/bios.
