Notebook Hard drive differences?

    ATA-6, serial ATA150.

    whats the differnece, and how can you distinguish the diff?, and how can i find out w/ my model number? google?

    oh and also, what brand would you reccommend for best battery life, i want a 120gig or 100gig ish. but i dont want one to suck my battery voltage.
