ntdll.dll Crash Errors with Firefox

I recently made the switch to Firefox and I love it and feel like I'd never go back to IE again. But... I keep getting frequent Ff crashes with error messages referring to ntdll.dll module. I fully uninstalled Ff 1.0 and installed a clean version of Ff 1.0.1, made no difference. I've created new profiles. Makes no difference.

I've run anti-spyware scans of different sorts and AV scans etc (Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spy Sweeper, and have Spyware Blaster running in the background, have also run Nortons AV and nothing there either). All clean. I've defragged. I've run Error Checking. I've run sfc /scannow. Nothing makes any difference.

Ff can go smoothly for hours or even a full day (!), then I start getting crash after crash. I don't know if it's related to Ff, but since it only seems to happen when using Ff, then I have to assume it is Ff causing a problem?

What can I do as I really want to use Ff and not return to IE...?

 

could you post the error message exactly as it appears on your screen? I'll look around, but that would help out.

 

A few hours after my last post here, Ff crashed again. And this time I couldn't start it again at all, the minute I'd try to start Firefox, it crashed immediately. The final crash error being:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, fault address 0x001e2bd5."

The previous one, 10 minutes earlier, had been:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, fault address 0x001f53c0."

and an hour before that:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x48882848."

The others in the previous 24hrs alone have been:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x00033aed."

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x000096cf."

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x000085c0."

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x00033aed."

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module js3250.dll, version 4.0.0.0, fault address 0x00028b7b."

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x00033aed."

I got so fed up I did a system restore to 3 weeks ago to just before I downloaded and installed Firefox.

Guess what... I'm still getting crashes, but this time only on starting Ff, and they're not (yet...) ntdll.dll ones, just one saying:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, fault address 0x001f53c0."

and 4 saying:

"Faulting application firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, faulting module firefox.exe, version 1.0.1.0, fault address 0x0018ce62."

I have already, thanks But haven't had any replies, and wasn't sure if it's Ff or my computer, so thought I'd ask here in case anyone else had experienced the same thing.
