    HI,

    AArrrggghhh - help !!!

I have been trying for weeks to resolve my code 10 error with no success.

The grapics card installs and works OK until Windows automatically dedetcs a WDM and installs the drivers from the NVIDIA CD.

The WDM driver has a code 10 allocated. (this is preventing me from using the firewire to work on videos)

    Spec is

    AMD 2.8
    Win XP pro sp2
    NVIDIA 5200 (53:03)
    ASrock K7S8X
    usb2.0
    Firewire

I have triedto assign IRQ to VGA in the BIOS - the m/b doesnt seem to have this as an obvious option.

Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.
Please keep it simple if you can as I am not very yechie.

    cheers
    Graeme

cheers for the info. I had already seen this.

Trouble is with the ASROCK board there doesnt seem to be an option to assign irq's.

I have an old PC where this option is available - dont know if this is a feature of new boards.

any other ideas give me a shout.

    thanks
