nVidia drivers causing Discolor in Video.

I've installed the new nVidia video drivers for my 6800NU and now when I play some video files in Realplayer or WMP the video is discolored. Showing bright colors and sometimes the picture appears purple, blue, pink, etc.

I used driver cleaner beforehand and I have tried reinstalling the driver. I have also downloaded the latest versions of WMP and Realplayer but the problem is still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

WMP is worked out but I still have problems with Real Player.

.AVI and .MPG files still show up with the discoloration.

Any ideas?

I got it!

Go to your driver settings, colour correction, apply colour chages to all (must select this) and then hit apply. Voila! videos now get the same colour correction applied to them as everything else

New nvidia beta drivers will fix problem too...You can find the new 77.76 drivers here . Been using them and there great

 

Knew I'd seen this somewhere!

Thanks all. I re-installed HL2 last night and upgraded my nvidia drivers (to 77.73) when it told me they were out of date... Guess what happened.

Will upgrade to 77.76 beta's tonight.
