Can anybody point me in the right direction regarding this, I tried the MS website, but couldn't really find anything. Let me elaborate...

We build Digital Video Recorders for the CCTV industry and they run on Win XP, what I want to do is make a master HDD so that I can clone from it but obviously the product key would be the same on all the clones. I have heard that MS do a tool that basically strips out the CD key from the setup files so that the first time that you run the cloned drive it requires you to enter the product key before it will boot into windows....

Am I on the right track here or is this just the ramblings of a looney?

All comments gratefully received (including those on my mental state) :p
