When I bought my new laptop I naturally removed all the extra programs and useless crap that came with it. Now I have an entry in the Add/Remove Programs list that I can't remove; Office 2003 Trial Assistant. When I try to remove it, a box pops up that states "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." Then it gives me the option to specify a new path for the file. It is looking for AssistantSetup.msi, but this file obviously doesn't exist since I removed everything.

I've tried to look for the program and file on the Recovery/Driver disc but could not locate it. My next approach will be to download the Office 2003 trial version from Windows.com in hopes that when I install it, the missing file will be restored and then I will be able to completely uninstall the trial version.

If anyone has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
