Office 2007 dictionary problem

Hello All.

I have recently installed Office 2007. Now i am having problems where most of the words that i type in are supposedly spelled wrong. I opened up spelling on the ribbon and it says there are no spelling suggestions. It seems that there is no dictionary.

Hi

Try the info here from Suzanne who is a Word specalist.

You could also uninstall and re-install, in case of a bad install, but try the above options.

Isn't Word 2007 the app that only includes a French dictionary or has this problem been corrected?

I haven't installed it yet but I want to be prepared for what I might face.

I found this

Office 2007 disables the English dictionary because it causes problems with Outlook Express. To turn the dictionary back on goto:
Microsoft Office Button>
Word Options>
Ad Ins>
Manage (select disabled items)>
Click on the English dictionary and re-enable it>
Close Word and restart.

Good to know. I have a 3 license purchase of Office 2007 that I haven't installed. I will put that note in the box so when I install it, I will remember to turn on the English dictionary.
