Hi all my problem is that I have SONY VIOAS Model PCG-FX190-K, I need to update my bio's how or what do I do to make this happen.The reason for this is so that I can install windows 7 if that is possible.Please help me I'm running Microsoft windows 2000 pro at this time;give me as much help as possible.:confused

but I would be hesitant on installing windows 7 on a laptop that old.
and read all the warnings it says.

 

If this is true

It will not work because the minimum speed is a 1GHz processor.

Updating a computer BIOS is one of the most risky things you can do. If it goes wrong, you are left with a very large paperweight as the motherboard of the computer will not know how to switch on, let alone control all the hardware attached to it.

Anyway, the laptop does not meet the specifications for the OS.
