One of the files containing the systems registry had to be recovered....

Hi im a newbie to this , i keep getting this message mostly when I turn on my PC and says "One of the files containing the systems registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternative copy. The recovery was successful." and most of my appz, games, music players keep crashing with the words "has encountered an error and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvinience".

Im running Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2

Please Help!!................sombody?
