Opening emails in Outlook forwarded as attachments

    I use Win XP ans MS Outlook.
    When someone forwards me an email as an attachment (as a .eml), I'm unable to open the attached email. I used to be able to, but something seems to have changed.
    Can someone please help?

    Which Outlook version?

    Also do you have Googles Desktop installed as this is a known issue with attached .eml if this app is installed? Fix is eithe runinstall Google Desktop or in Outlook Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager and untick "Google Desktop Search Outlook Addin"
