opening folders problem

for some odd reason now when i double click to open a folder it opens the search function. i have to right click and select open for folders to open the way they used to. any ideas how i can fix it like it was? thanks

wow thanks that fixed it. wonder why it needed to change a registry entry. i dont mess around with the registry. weird.

 

Sometimes when you install new programs they make registry changes that cause problems down the line. Thank Goddness there are usually easy to find 'Fixes' !
