Is there any way to get any other color schemes in Windows XP other than Blue, Olive Green, and Silver (without having to download WindowBlinds or Style XP, etc...)?

Windows 98 has a feature that allows you to change the appearance of your windows and backgrounds, and just the general appearance of your OS. Try right clicking on a blank area of your desktop then click properties, this should bring up a window with different tabs at the top. Browse through this and you should find ways to change the general appearance of almost everything.:)

If you do what tigerray00 suggested and find
appearance click on 'effects' or 'advanced', and this will get you all kinds of different looks.

Try this site. http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?act=downloads Download Neowin's Multipatcher http://www.belchfire.net/article555.html which will allow you to use non-Microsoft themes in Windows XP. They have hundreds of themes and it's all free.

I downloaded it. IT's only good for fifteen days. Style Xp is only good for so long. Is there any program that can be downloaded that won't expire???

This is the closest I've found. http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?act=downloads Download Neowin's Multipatcher http://www.belchfire.net/article555.html which will allow you to use non-Microsoft themes in Windows XP. They have hundreds of themes and it's all free. This is how to install downloaded themes. http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?showtopic=8799 Style XP and Starskin make it much easier, but they are not necessary. Example below.
