Outlook 2000 - How to recover deleted mail

    I have Outlook 2000 installed on a WinXP machine. It was installed in 'internet mail only' mode (no exchange server). I accidentally deleted a number of messages. How can they be retrieved? I know OE uses dbx files and there is software that can retrieve deleted messages. Does anyone know what to do in Outlook IMO? :confused:

    ummm actually... in school, i've been in computer classes where i first had to take a knowledge test,

    the question was: Can a deleted email be retrieved after being permanently deleted? (Off the computer and internet)

    answer was of course no.

    I'm not 100% percent sure, but wouldn't it be just like the Recycling bin, where once u empty it, theres no getting it back?
