Need some help on this. I've double checked the registry and msconfig and all *.ini files and there is no reference to outlook.exe in the run or start sections. I have a client who had Outlook 2003 installed by default from the manufacturer but doesn't use it. How can I disable it other than removing outlook so it doesn't auto-start.

I know you have most likely checked this location but worth looking to see if its in the Startup Menu

two ways... Start > Programs > Startup

or look in this folder ( also make sure that files are not hidden ) C:\Documents and Settings\(UserName)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\

however if the client is not using or doesnt invisage using Outlook its well worth uninstalling that component of Office.
