Outlook express crashes on opening

    each time i open outlook express it crashes within a few seconds of opening. it gives me the option to debug and when i click on it the box shows this error message an unhandled win32 exception occurred in outlook.exe [4700] i've run and AVG scan but nothing has shown up. any ideas what could be wrong?

    Not finding much on this, I would try and use System Restore to roll back to before this problem started. Not sure what operating system you have, but you should be able to find system restore in your control panel.

    apologies guys its microsoft outlook on vista. i tried the system restore point but no success. thanks for the help though

    Its not free, click on your own link. Since he said it is Outlook on Vista were assuming this means Microsoft Office, NOT Outlook Express.
