Outlook Express emails

    I want to save old OE emails on my old computer to an external drive. When I go to the tools/options/maintenance menu, and click on Store Folder, it gives me a long path like: C:Documents & Settings\Application Data\Identities\FDEAABFF-E870...\Microsoft\Outlook Express. When I navigate to that folder outside of OE, it is empty, and I have checked "Show Hidden Files". Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
