outlook express error message

Just had a new hard drive installed in my laptop and the windows xp pro reinstalled.

When i open up outlook express, i get a little error message saying:

Cannot delete ntuser.dat: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

Once i click the 'okay' button, OE opens right up and its business as usual.

Anyone know why i'm getting this message and how i fix it? I am the administrator/owner of the laptop. no one else uses it.

suspect that your profile is corrupt. Try creating a new one and log in as the new user.
