Outpost firewall free eats CPU.

    Outpost firewall FREE eats CPU. It was constantly at @ 75%, slowed very much everything and froze itself when browsing it's menus; the minimise/restore button & functions still worked.
    After system restart it was OK for a short time (@ 2 mins) before hogging again.

    I investigated this a bit, no problem/solution applied to me. -> Upgraded to Outpost full trial -> problem solved.

    Anybody else having this problem?

    Possible incompatibilities: Avast FREE antivirus.

    Versions

    Install file ver 2725.381.687.328 outpost.
    Outpost free doesn't update, at least manually.

    Install file ver 4.8.1335.0 avast.
    Current ver 4.8.1335 (latest).

    System specs: XP Home; 3000+ sempron, 32 bit, 512 cache, no SSE2 (I THINK); 1.5 GB ram.

    Op.Sys compatibility: Outpost only has 32 bit / 64 bit differences. Avast FREE has no distinctions from google to download finished.
