OverClocking my amd

    hi i just overclocked my amd 3800 2.0ghz to 2.3 ghz from the system bios. all i did was increase the ghz dial and thats about it :confused: . is this correct in overclocking? 2.3 was as high as it would go.

    If your using stock cooling, I wouldn't go much higher. But yes, raising your MHz is all that you really need to do. I would keep an eye on your CPU temps to be safe.

    right great..but uh i forgot to plug in the power for the temperarture gauge on my case >_< is der another way to figure out temp of cpu at windows?

    this looks like a great program however which temp is my cpu? it has around..6 temp readings...speed 1 speed 2 hdd etc. which one is my cpu?

    hmm usually temp1 or temp 2

    okay well i havnt been playing any serious games or do anything but the computer has been on for around 3-5 hours and this is the temp readings

    Temp 1 32C
    Temp 2 36C
    Temp 3 19C
    Local 47C
    Remote 43C
    Hd 39C
