Password requested

    I am running winxpsp3. I have access to a shared folder on a server running winserver2003. If I turn on my password for my account in my computer the server then asks for a login and password but does not if I remove my account password. I know there is a way to fix this but cannot remember what it is. Can someone help me with this problem?
