Passwords not retained

    I have a recurring problem in that several of the websites that I regularly access won't retain my user ID and password, although I do have the "remember me?" box checked. Other sites seem to work just fine. These are not high security sites like banks or anything. This holds true on my laptop as well. I'm running XP/SP2 on both. Any ideas?

    What browser are you using? .....have you gone to tools / internet options and selected auto fill for passwords, etc?

    Website passwords (well not the password as such but id information) are often stored in cookies if you use the remember me option, do you use a cleaning tool such as ccleaner that deletes cookies?

    The "cookie delete" might be the problem. I do have that enabled.
