Pause Spy & Ad Ware

I am running into a problem with a function on a website I am using and they think it could be due to one of the protection software products I have installed on my PC. I have been able to rule out all of them but two which I cannot figure how to put into pause to perform the test.

I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to PAUSE Ad-Aware SE Personal and Spybot Search and Destroy.

AdAware SE doesn't have 'real time' protection so I doubt it's causing a problem. Don't use the 'Tea Timer' in S&D. Turn it off within S&D, if you have it running.

 

Thanks Toni, That let's me rule out Ad Aware. I don't know what the "Tea Timer" is in Spybot -- I don't see it referenced anywhere.

Open SpyBot on its toolbar mode and switch to advanced mode > tools resident and uncheck tea timer for now, later after all is well we can turn it back on.
