Can you start a server on your LAN? Does it do the same thing?

Does it happen when you join someone elses server?

Also, list the rest of your computer's specs. (i.e. Processor, memory speed, motherboard, etc.)

Are you running a dedicated server

The fact that you're running a server: Uses CPU / RESOURCES etc

    Then

Add the fact that you're joining your OWN server: Using more CPU/GPU/Resources

You're going to have this problem.

Hmmm, Kodo, you may have something there. but the strange thing is, that it never happenned at the old card, its just i stepped over and this strange lag started to come. And it happends with other servers aswell if the server is running in the background

    I have a Pentium 4 2.6Ghz.
my motherboard is a Fujitsu Siemens model NS30-FS
Chipset is SiS. FSB is 4× 133mhz
I don't know where to see my memmory speed but what i have is:
    512MB DDR-SDRAM 2.5-3-3-6CL 1CMD
And yes i run a Dedicated Server.

depends on how many people are joining, how much resources are used.. Think about it.. your CPU is processing not only server I/O but your own game I/O.. that's a lot of beef. Even dedicated servers have their limit and in a game like UT2K4 (not that I know that is what you're playing) the typical max is 25-30 players.. and that's on some pretty beefy boxes.

but my server only has max of 12 players and the resourses are not full!!! but what i am saying is that the problem didnt exist on the old video card!!!! And it uses only 12mb of my ram, i have 200mb free. I think its the video card but i don't realy know, why could i have done wrong?
