    Hi guys,

this isn't for me this time.:)

    My pc is fine.

My mom said she was having problems with her pc. So, I decided to help her. I really think it's just software issues. I looked at her list of programs, and it seems like the ones that she likes using have a bad habit of stacking installs on top of each other.

In any case, I did notice some issues with browsers. I just installed Google Chrome, and it did some funny stuff too like not taking me directly to searches immediately. I moved her off of Internet Explorer completely especially because Microsoft is scrapping the project.

    Here are the logs.

Once again, I couldn't get the RogueKiller logs. I think you need to register for RogueKiller to get the logs now. It said something about reports being a premium feature.

Rogue killer showed some PUM. issues and one PUP issue.

There were no threats in the other logs as far as I know.

Nothing attached, and RogueKiller should give us access to logs I'll have to look into this...

You should try RogueKiller again - I just downloaded it, ran it and I can get a log just fine. :)

Hmmm....that's weird. I was sure I attached the files. I think they're attached this time.

I'll update with RogueKiller scan log if I can get one from the program. I'm pretty sure they want me to register to get a log. Maybe I'm doing something wrong though.

Re run Hitman and have it remove the small amount of minor garbage it finds.
Apart from this I'm seeing nothing to do here in the malware forum. :)

OK once done you can follow these instructions :)

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
