Pc shuts down every hour or so!! Please Help!!

Hi, my pc keeps closing down very frequently and has to be unplugged
and plugged back in to get started again.

It also doesnt start up first time. It gets to the desktop page and
then reboots. This happens everytime i try to start up and continues
for sometime.

Here is some of the error messages i get...

Have you checked the 'Event Viewer' for errors? There may be some very useful info there:
Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer
Check 'Applications' and 'System'
Double click on any errors and there will be an option to get help from Microsoft.

Here is what my Event Viewer says. The same reports come up in the event viewer after my pc shuts down out of the blue. Or when i start my pc up it just gets so far then reboots untill finaly it starts, but only until it shuts itself down again!

Please help me solve this because i am seriously thinking about just buying a new pc but surely this is fixable.

or corrupted cou due to overheating

go to bios see if overheating

 

How do i check temp of cpu? I take it you go into the bios at the start up and then where?

 

True Vector errors are generally associated with Zone Alarm firewall.

 

I had that problem and it turned out to be my power supply. That was on my older computer running win 98 se

 

check to see if your power supply fan is running slow.
