Then it is quite possible that you did not get it uninstalled properly. If you had any processes disable with MSconfig or another startup manager, the uninstall may have been incomplete. Also if you were having malware issues, it is possible that malware or even another program caused the uninstall to be incomplete. When you uninstalled it, did it ask for a password and did you supply it? Did you use their builtin uninstaller or did you use Windows Uninstaller. You need to use TrendMicro's uninstaller. Have you seen the below?

You should run the below and attach the log and I will check for anything obvious.

I see no signs of TrendMicro in those logs, but that does not mean it does not appear in place in your registry which is what PC Tools could be seeing. Since you have Avast installed, perhaps you should just stick with it.
