Hi everyone, I'm about to pull my hair out on this one...I just recently upgraded from an Asus a8n-5x mobo to an Asus m3n78 pro. My video card is an nvidia 7950gtx. I'ts a PCI-e card...for whatever reason though, I cannot get video to go through this card on the m3n mobo. My old A8N-5x is still working with the video card, so I know the video card is just fine.

I've been through the BIOS and have the onboard gpu set to auto (which claims to disable onboard if another video card is detected...) and the primary display adapter set to pci-e...yet there is nothing happening with the card. Of course it powers on just fine and is properly seated and such.

I have a VGA to DVI adapter hooked on it as well, but that shouldn't cause any issues as it works just fine with my A8N5X.

Does anyone know what might be wrong here? I even went as far as flashing bios up to the 0403 revision with no luck. Everything's nice and tight, etc. A fun note, if I unhook/rehook my monitor up, it comes off of standby (but back in after 3 seconds), so I know it's seeing the video card... Thanks!

I would just disable the onboard vid, screw the 'auto' garbage.JMO

Except you can't. Either it's "Auto" or "Always Enable"
