PCIX Video Card- Which One???

I have a customer looking to upgrade his video card: currently running a PCIX Radeon X1300Pro 512mb on Asus A8N-VM 2x512mb DDR400 with an Athlon64 s939 3200+ (he's looking to upgrade to a 4200 or 4400). Anyhow, I'm looking at either the Radeon x1600Pro 512mb or the GeForce 7600GS 512mb. They have very similar specs and the prices are almost identical. The mobo has an NVidia chipset so I was thinking about going w/ the GeForce just keep it 'all in the family'... he's not having any problems and he's STOKED with the current setup. I'll probably recommend an extra gig-o-RAM also... So let's open it up; NVidia or ATI????????????

what kinda budget we lookin' at here? BTW, the video cards with 512 RAM, unless high end, aren't worth it; they arent fast enough to utilize all that memory. Go for a 7600GT or x1650PRO. I think the x1800 has come down in price recently too. The 7900GS is a great deal too.
