Personal Web server

    Hi
    Can somebody help me what to choose. I want to make my personal web server on my PC (mostly to allow downloading files from my pc and to publish web sites).
    I want to know what kind of software and hardware I need. I have Win XP home edition so I’m not able to have PWS or IIS.
