   I recently tried to upload photos from my CF card. I received an error message that said "scan and fix" so I did. Now my files are stored in a temporary folder and read like this "temporary_v5_file0001_jpg.~cr" which I can not open with any of the programs on my computer. There are only approximately 52 photos so I am looking for a free solution. Any suggestions?

   Try to rename temporary_v5_file0001_jpg.~cr to temporary_v5_file0001_jpg and see if it opens. If so you can use a batch renaming utility to copy all of these somewhere and rename them without the .~cr
