Pinnacle 12 HELP!

    After preparing a slide show, converted it to AVI and then burnt. Goes well for a time but then breaks up with digital hash and eventually stops.
    Tried the same with Nero - same prob.
    Rebuilt slide presentation - remade AVI - similar crash but in diffrent time spot on DVD.
    Tried different burner - same problem.
    Uninstalled Pinnacle 12 - reinstalled-redid all-same problem.
    I'm now suicidal. Birthday party is three days away. Help me if you can.
