Pioneer DV-333 player loading tray won't stay open

Hi all!

Anybody have a problem where your DVD Player loading tray won't stay open to load. This is an external player for the TV. I would like to fix it myself since it probably costs as much to repair as it does to buy a new DVD Player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i got a guess, it might be some sort of joke program.

edit: o it's a dvd player? if it is, i have no clue. I thought you were referring to a DVD cd drive for a computer

JOKE PROGRAM??

YOU TOTALLY LOST ME THERE WITH THE "JOKE" PROGRAM. WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT AN INTERNAL PC DVD-ROM DRIVE. THIS IS A PIONEER DV-333 DVD PLAYER HOOKED UP TO MY TV.

SORRY ROBO, DOES NOT COMPUTE. NOT A VALID ANSWER FOR A STANDALONE DVD PLAYER. AND YES I HAVE OPENED IT UP BUT PRETTY HARD TO SPOT A MOTOR/MECHANISM PROBLEM. THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION THOUGH. .
