Hello, I currently have a w3400 from emachines.

    AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor (2.0 GHz)
    1 GB of Ram
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Graphics with 128 MB DDR shared video memory

    I also use a 20" Acer widescreen.

Bought it a while back, and it is rather outdated now. I am looking to upgrade to beable to play World of Warcraft, without have my FPS under 20 consitently.

What would you recommend I replace and or upgrade to solve my problem.

Do note that in June I plan on buying a Quad core, 2x8800GT 512 cards, with 2GB of RAM.

I just want something that can hold me over until then, but be a nice improvement.

I'm not familiar with WOW, but your system specs seem respectable. I'd add a gig of ram if anything.

I wouldn't go to overboard, considering you're getting a new pc in June.

The tech support forum for WoW said..

Most likely your bottleneck is from the Xpress 200 graphics card. It's an integrated video card with shared memory. You can try checking sites such as http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Grafic-Cards.130.0.html

The only thing is, that it isn't a notebook computer? Which he seems to think.
    It's a desktop.

Anyway, so from what hes saying I should get a new video card, but can I install a new one considering that what I have is integrated? What would I need?

    Processor is a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ S754, Motherboard is Xpress 200 MS-7145

    Here's W3400 product details http://www.e4me.com/support/product_support.html?cat=Desktops&subcat=W-Series&model=W3400
Looks like come June your buying a whole new PC

You have one PCI-e slot "Only one VC for you":major

It's not going to support Quad core either:cry
Product description states Processor "Not Upgradeable" not sure exactly what that means? CPU built in or soldered in or just not available from Emachine?? or any current manufacture for that matter.

You can go 2 Gb of DDR SDRAM/ DDR1 memory:)

8800GT you'll need more power, Emachine is known for weak PSU:cry Upgrade PSU:major

    Good Luck

Yes in June it will be a completely new computer.

My power supply is 300W, so yeah I need a new one.

Apparently it is possible to get new video card then? What happens with the intergrated one?

Also which Cards/Supplies would you suggest, I just want a decent upgrade, but nothing too expensive, probably looking at 125ish for everything.
