Playing AVI's on Vista

    Windows Media Player 11.0.6 on my new Vista box wont play the AVI's that play fine on my XP box... and it does not take me anywhere to download codecs like my XP did when it couldn't play something.

    Ah, I see a vista codec pac here on majorgeeks... trying that.

    YIPPIEEE! Everything works! Getting a new box is always frustrating.... and fun.

    What do people do who don't know about Majorgeeks?? Thankyou Thankyou
