Please Help cant get the popup ads to stop

    I've tried everything suggested here and have collected all of the suggested logs. They are attached. Please review logs and recommend what I should do next.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!
    1. Download this file - combofix.exe
    2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
    3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Attach this log to your next reply
    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.


    Now attach the below new logs and tell me how the above steps went.

    1. GetRunKey
    2. ShowNew
    3. HJT
    We still have some more work to do, so don't be surprised if you still have problems!

    Hello Chaslang thanks for your response - sorry for my delayed response - been quite busy with work stuff. If it is not too late I still need your assistance. Here is the latest...

    The combofix file is attached. As far as I can tell it only found something call Sidesurf/E2Give. Right now the popups is not as bad as they were. I install the spy sweeper software which seem to help some. Now it appears to be running sluggish, not responding as fast as it use to. Also sometimes the system hangs when I shut it down - forcing me to do a hard shutdown.

    You really should not wait so long in between. I understand that real life takes precedence but waiting as long as you did normally allows malware to spread more and can make it necessary to start the READ & RUN ME over again. Once you commit to fixing problems, you need to find the time to finish them.

    Right now you need to finish my instructions from message # 3 and attach the other requested logs.
