Hi guys,

Are you guys able to help me identify what are the two circled things are? I saw one on a faulty DELL Inspiron board before and it was slightly burnt with the top cracked and something sticking out from it.

It is one type of inductor. There are many.

The round shaped part to the left of the red circle in the first photo is also another type of inductor. Any "goo" that may leak out is likely teflon insulation.
