Please Help, Slow Computer & Black Screens

    Hi Friends,

    Computer is running very slow, and sometimes the screen goes black (even though I disabled all screensavers and power settings to never go to sleep).

    SpyBot & AdAware removed a few things, and Norton is taking many hours to crawl through the process.

    I have attached my HijackThis log file and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance, if you can lend some advice! ;-)

    UPDATE: Norton found this virus (and said it fixed it) "Trojan.Lodear.g DFC00027.exe"

    I also see "Rotue" keeps being found, removed (and then found again) by SpyBot.

    Computer is still super-slow though, and screensaver/wallpaper keeps popping up ;-(

    Move your thread to the correct forum, but please follow the guide as it does give the guys who can help a base point to work from,

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    and remember to also attach your Panda and Bitdefender logs.
